Champions Coffee started inside Brewing Gadgets. For 15 years, the company has supplied and serviced the machines behind many of the UAE's best cups. Along the way, it backed the baristas and roasters who competed on them, and some of them started winning.

Champions Coffee brings those champions and that experience together in one roastery. The result is competition-standard coffee, served without the attitude that so often comes with it.

Brewing Gadgets opens in Dubai.
2020

Mariam Erin Pinza enters her first competition, with Brewing Gadgets behind her.
2021

Mariam wins the UAE Brewers Cup.
2023

Ajeyudu Pathuri becomes Middle East Coffee Roasting Champion. Mariam wins the UAE Barista Championship and places third in the world at the World Cezve/Ibrik Championship.
2025

Mariam wins the UAE Brewers Cup for a second time, and the UAE Coffee in Good Spirits Championship.

The Binocular Dripper, designed by Mariam, launches at World of Coffee Dubai.

Founded Brewing Gadgets in Dubai in 2011.

Goutham founded Brewing Gadgets in Dubai in 2011. Over 15 years he has built it into the UAE's leading specialty coffee equipment supplier, with more than 2,500 products from over 100 brands, showrooms in the UAE and India, and its own technical service team. Champions Coffee is his next step: after years of supplying the machines behind the country's best coffee, the company now roasts the coffee too.

Middle East Coffee Roasting Champion 2023.

Ajey came into coffee by chance, as an assistant to a roast master, and has spent more than 15 years in it since. He is the Middle East Coffee Roasting Champion 2023, a licensed Q Arabica Grader, an SCA Authorized Trainer and an inventor with patents in espresso technology. He roasts every batch of Champions Coffee himself. Ask him about extraction and he'll happily explain it, at whatever level of detail you like.

Five-time UAE national coffee champion.

Mariam has won five UAE national coffee championships: the UAE Brewers Cup in 2021 and 2025, the UAE Cezve/Ibrik Championship in 2022, the UAE Barista Championship in 2023 and the UAE Coffee in Good Spirits Championship in 2025. She placed third at the 2023 World Cezve/Ibrik Championship. She's a licensed Q Arabica Grader, a competition judge and the inventor of the Binocular Dripper. Away from the bar, she paints.
